I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical when I first saw this but I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only does it get rid of the hair on my legs but it does a great job at getting rid of dead skin cells too. I know - nobody likes to think about dead skin cells lurking, but the truth is they are there and this product does a fantastic job of removing them. There are a couple of things to mention though - firstly, this doesn't take a couple of minutes to do - it's probably 5-10 minutes per leg, obviously depending on the amount of hair, and secondly you really do need to moisturise after using it.
The reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because I thought that it would be great for underarm and bikini hair removal too, but personal experience has taught me that these areas are a little too sensitive to be treated to a delicate sanding!! But then I suppose it is only really designed for legs so that was maybe my fault, but you have to try these things (only once though!!).
Anyway - in general I have to say its a big thumbs up from me.

Bought this for my self ,but my daughter tried it and loved it only 13 thought it was better than a razer got to agree alot safer for someone who is only starting to shave her legs .

Bought this item thinking I would not have to shave so often and that when the hairs grew back they would not be as prickly as when shaving, not so, you have to use the rio precious hair removal system every day to keep your legs smooth. It does leave your legs feeling lovely and smooth and at least you cannot cut yourself using it. Does not work on the bikini line. Maybe I was expecting to much.

Quite a nice product to tell you the truth.
Basically exfoliates skin and then removes hair although it does take quite a long time - 10 to 15 minutes per leg. Skin quite smooth but need to use the mosturiser. On the negative side, hair grows back quite quickly. Very similar to a razor in my opinion except for the exfoliation.
