If you're used to shaving this is strange!,

My wife has always shaved her legs in preference to waxing them. She disliked the sensation of the hairs being pulled out and abandoned after just half a leg. This would be ideal for someone who is used to waxing but my wife will stick to shaving. The product itself came with a pouch and an attachment ideal for those not familiar with epilating previously. The instructions were easy to follow and the product was well designed. So if you are used to waxing for hair removal this would be a quicker and easier alternative.
Not greatly impressed,

I thought I'd give this a go as I'd wanted to try an epilator (I'll try anything that promises smooth legs for more than 5 mins), and they always make it look so easy on the adverts.
First up, the intructions are based heavily on lots of wordy safety instructions, and then the actual operation instructions are pictographic. The problem here is that the two attachments and the normal epilator head look pretty similar on the picture, so you end up with some trial and error to begin with.
The thing itself sounds quite vicious when you turn it on, and though it doesn't hurt massively when you're using it (no more than waxing anyway), I certainly ended up going over the same bits several times to try to get everything, and as a result I have some red patches on my legs this morning.
In fairness, the manual does say that it will take a couple of goes for your skin to get used to it, but it is starting to look like a time consuming hassle when you can just break out the leg razor.
