This was my first epilator

Works well - very good at getting rid of that hair!

Doesnt hurt as much as I thought, best using after a shower

Sleek design but a bit noisy!!!!

Recently bought this product after deciding that regular waxing was too expensive. Was surprised at how small and light the epilator was - having had one years ago when they first came out which was heavy and noisy. The Philips Satinelle is easy to use and achieves smooth results in a short space of time. Fairly painless and that was even the first time using it on long fuzzy legs! The worst area to epilate is the front of the thigh but it's done so quickly the pain is short lived. Pleased with this product and should have bought one ages ago to save myself money and hassle of going to the salon. It would have been nice if it came with its own travel/carry case but have found a suitable one for the purpose. Overall a good product and great improvement on the original Epilady that I had years ago.

As a first time epilator buyer and user I am really impressed with the HP6508 Philips Satinelle Epilator. You are left with a smooth outcome from Epilation provided that you have just showered/bathed and are completely dry. The product is very easy to use and keep clean. The adapter cable is long enough to reach if you have a plug shortage. Give yourself plenty of time when epilating as it cannot be rushed. An evening is better so that the redness after epilation can disappear ready for the next day. Not recommended just before your about to go out!

Never used an epilator before, had mixed opinions from other users - some didn't rate them at all, others raved about them so I gave it a go. Didn't by the very cheapest, but kept the price relatively low in case it proved unsuccessful, but I couldn't be happier with the results. I will never 'shave' my legs again!
