I will admit to being a clumsy shaver and no shaving gels or razors have ever left me without nicks and cuts, but this one did! It's amazingly smooth, my legs still feel great after two days and not one single snag! I can't recommend this enough.

I have to agree that this does exactly what it says, no need for shaving foam/gel, which is great. Gives a really good shave, so the divine has gone to the back of the cupboard. Once the slick bars have worn away, you can still use it with foam, as the blades seem to last longer. Might be a couple of pounds more expensive than the divine but in the long run you use less gel/foam so more economical.

I have to completely disagree with the other review. I think the blades give a very close shave. The gel bars wear down evenly and last a while. The good thing is, is that you can still use the blade when the bars have worn down if it's still sharp.

The gel bars give great slip to the blades. Overall i'm very impressed, and i rate it over the standard gillette blades.

I found this a really easy to use razor - without the need for gel etc it was so easy to get a quick clean shave. Only issue I had was that it is really easy to nick under my knee-cap so now I'm really careful on that area. I've had less nicks than with my Standard Gilette Venus for frequent shaves.

When I have time for a really close shave I will stick with the gel and Standard Venus but for frequent use the Venus Breeze has been really good for me.
